PATS 2026 - New Product Award Winners

The winners of the PATS New Product Awards 2026 have been revealed, shining a spotlight on some of the latest products and ideas across the pet industry.

More than 400 products were entered into this year's New Product Showcase, with a panel of pet retailers judging entries across 12 categories. Products were assessed on everything from design and quality to innovation, value for money and sustainability.

The awards were presented on 27 September, at the end of the first day of PATS.

Here's a look at this year's winners and what caught the judges' attention.

Cat Accessories & Toys

Winner: Pet Tee Pee
Danish Design (stand L20)

The judges praised its modern, neutral design, quality and affordable price, noting that it would look right at home in any living space.

Cat Food Products

Winner: Purrform Fresh Deli
The Nutriment Company (stand E40)

With a choice of flavours and a move towards fresh food for cats, the judges felt this product brought something new to the market.

Dog Food Products

Winner: Real Simple
Naturaw (stand K50)

Clear labelling, quality ingredients and a great price helped this product stand out. The judges also felt it was a positive step forward for the raw feeding market.

Dog Treat Products

Winner: Pure & Natural Doggy Bag (Natural Chew Variety Pack)
Su Bridge (stand I10)

A mixed bag of natural chews was a welcome addition for the judges, who felt it was a product the natural feeding market had been waiting for.

Dog Accessories & Toys

Winner: Booster Enrichment Toy Range
Fidelis Dog (stand E32)

The judges loved the concept, build quality and price of this enrichment range, highlighting its potential to stand up to play with larger dogs.

Dog Harnesses, Leads & Dog Wear

Winner: Truelove Ultra-light Magnetic Top Harness
Truelove x That Dog (stand F58)

Its magnetic fastening makes this harness a practical option for owners with dexterity challenges, while its stylish design also caught the judges' eye.

Small Animal & Bird Products

Winner: Teewy Meadow Wheel for Small Animals
Chongqing Pet Union Biological Technology (stand N54)

With its natural materials and attractive design, this product was recognised as a great way to keep small animals entertained and prevent boredom.

Oralade (stand B13)

With warmer summers becoming a growing consideration, the judges highlighted the importance of hydration products like this for dogs and their owners.

Winner: Portable Dog Washer
Hound Hose (stand A74)

Practical, portable and innovative, this product impressed the judges as a handy solution for cleaning muddy paws and dogs after outdoor adventures.

Aquatics Indoor Products

Winner: Interpet Scape Kit Cube Aquariums
Sera Group (stand T30)

This aquarium starter kit stood out for its range of sizes and price options, making it a great choice for those looking to get started.

Winner: Pond in a Pot
Anglo Aquatic Plant (stand R3)

The judges were impressed by its eye-catching design, value for money and compact, appealing look.

Reptile Products

Winner: Fast Acting Reptile Calming & Emotional Wellbeing Kit
Pet Remedy (stand L18)

A fresh idea in reptile wellbeing, this product caught the judges' attention for offering something different at an accessible price.
